Having the additional books in my classroom library during my reading block will help ensure my students have “Just Right” books they can read independently on their own to help improve their reading abilities. The technology would also be used during my reading block to help the large amount of ELL students who have limited English proficiency access books online that can be read aloud to them. This technology will greatly aid in helping my students better speak and comprehend English. Since my students do not have access to either of these resources at home, I feel that having them in the classroom would be extremely beneficial to their learning experience and process.
