Having a selection of books will enhance our class library. I am looking to have resources available in the classroom so that my students do not have to wait until we go to our school library to select new books. These books have been chosen with my students in mind. They are hungry for more literature and to be able to read about characters/people who look like them. Students will also grow into more independent readers as they make their own selections and continue to enjoy independent reading time. Lastly, my students will be able to step away from their computers but continue to grow their love for reading with these books.

About my class
