All of my students are at least a year behind in reading. Of course I want them to learn to read, but more than anything, I want them to understand how important and exciting reading can be! This project will provide them each with a copy of their own book. They will be able to follow along with me as we read, and then they will be able to discuss their thoughts, feelings, and predictions with their small groups. The students will feel the magic and power of becoming lifelong learners.

About my class
