We are a classroom of 25 energetic, intelligent, and eager first graders. We love life, we love school, and we love to read! We go to Title 1 school in California. Our school has numerous challenges, i.e. high poverty, high mobility, a high EL population, and we are in Program Improvement. With all of our challenges, we are proud to be at our school. We have made huge gains and progress over the lasts couple years. We are not afraid to work hard and will do anything we can to learn! We are in first grade and we know it is the foundation for the rest of our learning. It is essential that we learn how to read this school year and we are ready and willing!
