I hope to provide my class with teaching stations that will give students better visual access and be more interactive. I want to teach and interact with my students rather than be bound to a fixed whiteboard. Studies show that students learn when they become responsible for their own learning.
We will model writing and record math problem solutions. These manipulatives will provide not only the foundation to many concepts, but allow students to explore and expand their knowledge for higher order of thinking!
The games will provide my students with extra practice while having fun. My students will be able to practice concepts with a hands-on approach and will be able to test their skills and knowledge. Having interactive work stations will allow our class to share, work, and learn from each other!
