These materials will help my students remain interested in learning. Working at a Title I, low income school, Special Education seems to be last when it comes to new materials. I do the best I can, but I need help to make sure these students keep their love of learning. My students have individual learning goals for the year that include learning uppercase and lowercase letters, letter sounds, sight words, counting, writing letters and numbers. The alphabet locks will be a fun center activity for my students and will help them match the lowercase numbers to the uppercase, something they are currently struggling to remember. The dough stampers will give them hands-on learning experiences when they spell their names and learn how to spell sight words. The Let's Get Moving Numbers and counting kit will make Math more fun as they learn life skills like counting and adding. The alphabet blocks and giant letter lacing beads will help them with Physical Therapy hand-eye coordination. All of these items will help them master their learning goals this year so they can continue to make progress.
