As the new school year approaches, I would love to give my students the option of flexible seating, while reading!
There is nothing more comforting than finding a cozy spot to read a great book. As a Reading teacher, I want to be able to give my students the opportunity to read within their comfort zones to further their comprehension and fluency skills while also building enthusiasm for reading a variety of books. Using flexible seating will allow students to find comfort in reading, furthering their literacy and vocabulary skills that they use in their everyday lives. I hope to be able to contribute to students' comfort, while reading, using flexible seating!
