I want my students to be able to be productive in their project-based learning in the classroom. Throughout the year I want them to be able to explore their passion projects and present them to their peers. It is important for them to be creative and explore their interests while learning the proper ways of organizing their information to be published. In order to help them do this, I am requesting ear buds so that students can research on their Chromebooks without disturbing their neighbors. Knowing where their materials are located and keeping them organized, will help students take charge of their own learning. For this, we need binder clips, file folders, and bins to hold and organize all materials needed to prepare for their presentation.
Bob Talbert once said, "Teaching kids to count is fine, but teaching them what counts is best." In spirit of these words, I want to be able to motivate my students to learn and pursue their interests through project-based learning.
