We are working with some very active and energetic students with moderate/severe autism. Due to them being so active, we have movement breaks as well as dance parties to get the wiggles out since they LOVE MUSIC. However, our students are learning how to sit nicely in their chairs during instruction and circle time. I would love to have the opportunity to have a carpet for my students to learn how to sit cross-cross-applesauce during circle time and story time. This carpet will also help them differentiate/learn colors as well as follow 1-3 step instructions when asked to sit.
