These books will make reading more accessible and engaging for my students. They are high school students who are identified as English Language Learners and while there are reading materials for ELL students many of them are written for younger students. These books will allow my students to engage with the wonderful world of reading while at the same time letting them read books that are appropriate for their age and skill level. I will use these books during different units as well as allowing the books to be readily available for the the students to read during their free time. This will allow the students to engage with the books in an organic way that I hope will encourage them to read for fun and for academic purposes as well.
