The power of exposing learners to diverse picture books, has the ability to teach beyond any curriculum! In reading high quality and diverse picture books daily, students can build a stronger classroom community, develop empathy, promote positive social emotional learning, practice critical reading skills, include a variety of topics in (and outside) of the curriculum, equalize access to diverse text and experiences for all students, enhance listening skills, create joy for the reading experience, model fluency, and so much more!
Your donation will help to build our classroom library so we can have immediate access to a variety of high quality literature on a daily basis.
The Johnson Jedi appreciate your donation and can't wait to share our stories with you!
