My classroom has so many students! In order to meet their social and emotional needs as well as teach them effectively, they need tables instead of desks. These tables will allow us to change our classroom by raising and lowering tables, changing seating and allow students the opportunity to have some choice that will enhance their learning.
Tables will allow my students to take control of the environment that they learn in on a daily basis. These students have so little control over the circumstances of their daily life that the choice of seating will give them confidence to take charge of their learning.
