This is my fifth year teaching fifth grade. This is my FIRST year teaching in a departmentalized setting and only teaching reading. I want my three classes to feel comfortable in their reading classroom and be excited to be there every day. Some of them only spend an hour a day in my room and I want it to be as positive of an experience as possible. The first day we had independent reading time in my classroom I had numerous students come to me asking if I had a specific book series, two of which I have requested in this ÐÇ¿Õ´«Ã½.org! I also noticed as I looked at my students reading that they were really in need of a few more comfortable options for seating. I am so looking forward to this year of watching my fifth graders gain a bigger love for reading and it is an honor to be their fifth-grade reading teacher! Thank you for considering making our year more successful!
