This year for social studies I am focused on letting students put what they are learning in interactive notebooks. This requires a lot of preparation on my end, but they are proud of their work and want to show it off to the school and their family members. I also want to be able to make sure others materials that are being prepared for lessons are cost effective and can be used for years to come and having a printer and a laminator in my room will ensure no materials are wasted. I know my students work best when they can work in small groups and really discuss their thoughts and reasoning and would love to be able to quickly and efficiently be able to provide that for them.

About my class
