The students who come into my classroom both love to read and struggle to find a love of reading. In order to help foster a classroom full of lifelong readers, we need as many diverse classroom library books as possible. The 2020 Maud Hart Lovelace Award Nominees are a great place to start! These are new and current books that are up to win a great award. I would love for my students to be able to read as many of the 2020 Maud Hart Lovelace Award Nominees as possible this year. This helps foster a love of reading and gives my students many options when it comes to choosing a book. The reason why there are three of each book is so that three students can read, discuss, and engage in the book together. This will help my students have more options to choose from and hopefully connect with in order to foster a love of reading.
