These resources, especially the Chromebooks, will put resources in the hands of 1st graders during the COVID-19 pandemic. The standard 1.RF.1 and 1.OA.1-4 will be greatly addressed when students are able to use the supplies throughout the school day. Having access to digital and manipulative supplies will greatly increase the first graders ability understand their reading foundational skills as well as their number fluency with 20. Students will now not have to share their resources or wait for their own turn. Instead, they will be able to work at their own pace.
