We are requesting charcoal pencils and print making blocks. The materials will help students understand the different types of pencils in art and what they are made for. They will be able to explore and use these tools to discover new techniques in value drawing scales. These tools are vital for my advanced art students to be able to use for their future art careers. The printmaking boards are awesome for any level class and the students love to learn how to create artwork using them. The students enjoy the textures they can create with gouges on the printmaking boards. They may even keep them for a long time after the class and use them as many times as they'd like. Printmaking is another essential media for students to learn.
