I am a seventh year Mathematics teacher. Providing two iPads for my classroom will help introduce my classroom to the joys of technology and the rich learning experiences technology can bring. I could use these iPads to offer games like "Heads up" where I can put in custom math cards and the kids can interactively review content I've covered in class. These iPads could also open doors for me to quickly get student responses, students could use the various amount of applications at their disposal for content review, as well as, work on online success trackers that will make sure my Appalachian students are getting the diverse education they deserve in 2019. These iPads could be shared with my colleagues to provide rich opportunities for my students to research history concepts, or even easily compare and contrast stories. All of this offered through the virtual success you could provide for my students. Some of them barely have basic needs, so this could allow them opportunities to see things they may never see during their childhood. Thank you for any consideration or help you can provide.
