These listening center materials will give my students more opportunities to listen to English in a meaningful way. These stories are fun and exciting ways for children to build background knowledge as well as develop a love for reading. The children will be engaged in the connection between reading and writing comprehension activities. They will listen to fiction and nonfiction text then have the time to respond to the text by drawing and writing to answer questions related to the story in a deeper way. They will be developing comprehension and vocabulary within the story in as well as developing their independence.
