Learning math can be scary sometimes but with the use of manipulatives, learning new concepts can be so much easier. This year I will be teaching two classes of math. We do a lot of hands-on activities using manipulatives, but students do not always have enough materials and need to share. This project will help students better grasp math concepts that are being taught by being able to use hands-on materials. Pattern blocks, write on wipe off communicators, EAI Education Exploragons Student Set, magnetic Base Ten and Pattern Blocks, angle rulers, square tiles, and a magnetic dry erase easel will all help my students become the best math students that they can be! In addition, math games to help them learn basic facts, and Triazzle Brain Teaser Puzzles to help them learn problem-solving skills will help make math fun an much less scary and overwhelming.
