I am very excited about using flexible seating in our classroom this year. I believe it will help each student in our class be the best learner they can be. Flexible seating encourages students to find their best spot to stay calm, focused and productive. I want my students to be comfortable and learning is the goal. As an effective teacher I must adjust the curriculum and methods to meet the needs of my students. Research has shown that flexible seating helps student attention span, leading to increased achievement, promotes active learning, and develops a sense of community and builds students social skills.
