Our autism program needs a laminator to preserve the world our students try to understand and thrive in. Students with autism at our school use lamination to preserve their modified curriculum tasks, and daily work schedules that help them communicate with others and navigate the world around them. Since students with Autism have communication needs, our program uses lamination for multiple visual icons, social stories, and manipulative tasks for students who cannot read or have poor fine motor skills. With limited teacher funding, we need to preserve the materials we work diligently to create for our student's very specific and multiple needs.
