In my class we look at reading as an opportunity to explore and get lost in a world other than our own! We read for education, comprehension, but more than anything, sheer joy, love and appreciation for the characters and settings that are gifted to us through each page! In order for our students to enjoy reading, we have to present content that they are interested in and that they can read and comprehend. When the students are excited about the material that is presented in our class library, they are more inspired and likely to read for enjoyment. My goal as an educator is to get my students excited about learning and to recognize that there are multiple ways in which they can learn.
About my class
