My students last year enjoyed movement while working! Several other teachers have wobble stools and balance balls like these in their classes. These alternate means of seating, such as wobble chairs and balance balls, will allow them to wiggle and move while they are working all day every day!
Studies have shown that students who have movement during the day retain the information being shared much easier!
Many of our daily activities have the students up and mobile throughout the classroom! When a lesson calls for the students to be seated, these movement seats will allow them to remain in one place but have movement while seated! I know they will be excited to wiggle and wobble while working! We can't forget that our health is an important part of our day as well, so when we finish using our flexible seating, we will use Clorox wipes each day to scare the germs away!
