Like all students, my students love to have choices in their learning. One way I am hoping to bring more choices by offering more seating options in the classroom. The hard plastic chairs are just not enough for students to be able to focus and stay on task. Whether it is during a math lesson, exploring during science, or reading a book, students need to be able to move around. With these seating options, students can be more mobile while they are learning. Stimulation is key in keeping student attention in the classroom. By offering additional seating options, in my classroom, I will be able to provide more stimulation for my students.
