With a new easel, the students will be able to learn with a visual display. I will use it when I do activities and teach lessons when the students are sitting on the rug. Every classroom needs an easel. It is important for kinesthetic as well as visual learners. It is such a basic staple in every classroom but unfortunately, we do not have one. I like to get the kids moving around and learning in other ways besides sitting at their desks all day. When we do group activities for math, spelling, science, social studies, reading and writing it helps to have a display that the students can come to the front and use and interact with. When the students are sitting on the rug in front of me, the easel helps to have "all eyes on me."
