In a technology filled world, sometimes our kids just need book pages to turn to. Students can go on great adventures and learn endless things straight out of a book. I believe there is a type of book out there for everyone. If I can add more to my library, I can gain my students interest and find their love for reading. Each child's interests are different from the other, so their book selections should be able to be different too! In this project, I am requesting the Diary of a Wimpy Kid book set, which is loved my the majority of my students. I am also requesting the Roald Dahl collection because these classics have been students' favorite stories for years. I also know the majority of my students would love the sport adventures by Jake Maddox. I have noticed my kids love having a variety of genres to pick from so they can change it up sometimes. With this project, they will have that opportunity.
