Literature helps readers make connections and become part of the stories. These books about specific places in Africa will be the foundation of our Global lessons for the entire year. I have carefully chosen the titles to align with my Global lesson plans as well as intertwine with the Common Core curriculum that is outlined by state. My vision is that we will read the stories and research the area of Africa in depth. These books will make a priceless impact on my students ability to understand more of the culture of the specific area of study. I am looking forward to being able to share more about Africa in a way that my students will find enjoyment and delight.
