My students currently have 5 calculators to share as a class. These are simple calculators that will only help with simple calculations.
Graphing calculators will allow for deeper understanding of more difficult material such as visualizing graphs, interpreting real world data, or understanding why a formula works.
These calculators will give my students an opportunity to learn that may not be readily available in the home.
They will allow my students to produce accurate predictions and reach valid connections. Having an additional resource will both excite and motivate my students!
