My classroom is 1-to-1 with Chromebooks. Allowing each student to have a pair of headphones would allow me to incorporate more learning opportunities for each student. Some lessons may require them to watch a video and take notes or respond in writing. Some students can use a program like Achieve 3000 or LetsGoLearn to help them learn the English language. Other students enjoy listening to books being read on Tumblebooks The possibilities would be endless if each student had a set of headphones.
If each student has a set of headphones that they can use with their Chromebook, it would allow me to set up numerous lessons and learning centers to meet each of their learning needs.
My students learning the English and Spanish languages can hear the language being spoken to them, my students with learning disabilities can have things read to them, the options are endless.
