These materials will be tools that my students will use daily in class. The goal is to get them used to using the tools so that when they go into college and their future careers they will already have the skills they need to be organized and successful in school this year and in life in years to come. They will use the binders to keep their class papers organized, then once they are done with the papers, at the end of the month, quarter, and semester they will use the boxes to file them away.
They will also be making personal portfolios of their work. They will make them for their work as well as for future careers. They will go their their work from the boxes, and use the binders, page protectors, and other supplies to build their portfolios to take with them to college and job interviews.
