In order to engage my students in any of my lessons, I have to appeal to their needs and interests. My students need to enjoy the lessons I teach in order for them to be fully engaged. They learn through the enjoyable educational experiences I provide for them. However; I am looking to step up my game to improve their understanding of the content with which I am teaching. My students deserve to learn in ways that are tailored to their unique abilities. My students deserve to want to be at school, not because they have to, but because they choose to. The Get Your Teach On (GYTO) is a renowned organization that teaches rigor and engagement, and the individuals teaching at the conference are some of the best educators in the world. By attending this conference, I will be able to incorporate teaching techniques that fit my students' personalities, as well as engage them in my lessons. The Get Your Teach On Conference will allow me to be the best possible educator I can be for my students!
