Why do we teach cursive? Because it helps students understand and grow... Every year I see students who struggle to write using print flourish when I introduce cursive writing. We are one of the few districts in our state that still provides cursive instruction/practice to our students. And they LOVE IT!!
Understanding cursive writing is still very important as adults and we want to help our community communicate in this way. This year we do not have the funding available to purchase curriculum and we will not be able to teach our students this fun and important skill. Please help by sponsoring one of our 3rd grade classrooms this year!!
