Our curriculum is play-based, which encourages our students to learn through their play. The concept is to build upon the chid's existing abilities and allow them to lead in their learning. Our students, particularly students with autism, greatly benefit from dramatic play activities. These activities allow them to further develop their social-emotional, language, physical, and cognitive development. These resources will enhance the study units from our curriculum, such as the Trees Study, Pets Study, Buildings Study, and Clothes Study. Some of these materials overlap and will be used for more than one unit study, such as the tree house, which can be used in both the Trees and Buildings Studies.
