My students use software that reads to them in a small group or individually. The computer voice is much easier for them to process than a live voice as it maintains the same cadence and tone.
Having three tablets will allow me to ensure my students can hear the words read aloud and see the words as the yellow box highlights each word.
Each assignment is tailored to their specific learning needs. Many students read in pictures with words as they progress to words only. They can record their answers digitally with it, so it will be much easier for students with fine motor skill issues since no glue or scissors are needed as with paper answers.
