My goal is to help students navigate math with the right tools! My students need learning tools to help in our mathematics classroom setting. Calculators are necessary tools that allow my students the opportunity to check their math for accuracy and aid in problem-solving all year long. My mathematicians need sharpened pencils to record their thoughts to share with their peers. We will use these items on a daily basis because we are an active classroom. Sixth graders are moving towards more of a problem-solving approach, so calculators take care of the computation so they can reach answers to multi-step problems.
