The Project-Based Building in 5th Grade project is a hands on, collaborative approach to teaching the core subjects. Through the use of building blocks, students will actively engage in project-based learning through the core subjects of math, science, and social studies.
Building Blocks provide a fun, engaging, hands-on way for students to learn in the classroom. The Project-Based Building project will allow students to work alone and with partners while creating and learning. Students will be able to use the Building Blocks to create land forms, work on science concepts such as push and pull, and even use the blocks as math manipulatives when counting and working on fractions or even geometric shapes. The most important thing about the Project-Based Building project is that fifth graders will use the Building Blocks for making learning fun.
