My students are eager to learn and love to read. Budget cuts make it difficult to provide enough copies of magazines for each student in class. Many students' families cannot afford to purchase these magazines for them, so class sets are the only option for providing them with a variety of reading materials. The magazine subscription will meet many standards for both the reading and social studies class, by providing information in a totally different media.
