Math is a difficult subject to learn on your own. Most students understand a lot better when they are shown how to complete processes by someone they know and trust. A personal connection with the teacher is often the single best indicator of whether or not a student will be successful in math.
My Donors Choose projects are designed to make math more accessible and engaging for all students - regardless of their ability level, socio-economic status, physical or mental health, or other personal needs. All students are welcomed whole-heartedly in my classroom, as well as challenged to think creatively.
Thank you for your support and consideration!
