By unitizing the chairs our class will spend more time focusing on class work and not redirecting them. The students have to use the balancing abilities in their mind. This has been proven to calm them and allow them to focus. The chairs are designed to make the students use their legs to balance. This will assist the students to keep their mind busy and able to focus on the work that is assigned and not wondering about other things they want to do. We have experimented with home made stools in the class and have found it has worked on several students.
