Early childhood students benefit from lots of experiences with sensory materials to help grow skills with their overall development; and...it’s fun! The water marbles will be used in the sensory table during structured free play; allowing students to explore using multi sensory skills. The water wheels will also be available during free play at the sensory table. Upon completion of their play with the water materials; students will record their play experience by doing a drawing of their play. Staff will write verbatim as the child describes their drawing. The teacher will read the child’s writing as the child repeats his/her language. Learning focus is on sensory experiences and literacy development.
