This project will help my first grade students by giving them choices for different seating arrangements. Every child learns in a unique way and having the options for seating will enhance student engagement.
I want to make my classroom warm and inviting to ensure every students' success!
My students will have a choice when it comes to what seating will make them feel comfortable and ready to learn.
My students would use these different types of flexible seating (wobble chairs, balance balls, and floor cushions) in our small group centers that we do daily. They will also be able to use them during free time, art time, and independent work time.
We currently have no flexible seating in our classroom and I know my students will be very excited to have more comfortable options for seating!
