In the curriculum each lesson activity has three levels of differentiated expectations and materials to accommodate student needs, supports and learning styles, so every student has access to chronological general education skills. The tables will allow me to divide my students into smaller groups so I can give them individualized instruction on their level.
One thing the curriculum offers is teaching practical life skills such as counting money, balancing a checkbook, cooking, telling time, etc... These hands on materials will provide concrete examples to help my students be successful in life!
The paper will help me differentiate the different levels that each student is on as well as help me prepare materials required.
