Students will be able to use these calculators in order to maximize their math score on the PSAT, SAT and ACT. I also believe the comfort of having a calculator will reduce exam anxiety from not having a calculator. Each AVID Senior will be able to check out a calculator on exam day from me if they choose. They can also check out calculators for their Advanced Math Classes. The AVID 11th graders who are preparing for their first SAT in the spring of their Junior will be able to use the calculators as we work through our SAT prep and practice throughout the year.

About my class
