My students need to be able to complete their work in a safe and comfortable environment. Without accommodations, their lack of focus prevents them from completing tasks. Flexible seating allows my students to wobble, rock, bounce, lean, balance or stand, increases oxygen flow to their brains and helps their minds stay more alert. Sensory input is especially helpful for students with ADHD. Bean bags stimulate students sense of touch. This type of stimulation can help children focus and process information. Flexible seating helps makes learning fun. This will help my students look forward to coming to school and be successful learners.
