My students need a Cricut machine, Cricut tools, card stock and multiple themes of Cricut cartridges to help them learn in a creative way! For those of you that do not know what a Cricut is, let me explain. A Cricut is an amazing electronic cutting machine. Just as a printer will use ink to print what you put on the computer screen, a Cricut will CUT out the objects on its screen. This machine will allow the students to pick images, shapes, characters, letters, math manipulatives, etc.. and cut them out. The possibilities are endless. We will be able to create new math and literacy centers and provide the differentiation that is needed among students. We will be able to create artwork, advertisements, and other displays in our school. This will not only help in the classroom but in our entire school. The more hands-on, memorable, and creative lessons will help to make learning fun and exciting for not only the students this year, but for years to come. This would be a great source for the students in the classroom, the preparation work, and the ability to be more creative in our Student Council.
