Every week my students receive a paycheck for the amount and quality of work they turn in. They also receive a rent bill every two weeks to pay for their seat. After rent is paid they may purchase items from my school store. Students also earn bucks in class for participation. The supplies for this project will be an incentive for my students to purchase using their bucks, as well as teach them to budget/balance a checkbook. These supplies will be able to be “purchased” weekly by roughly 20 students and last the entire school year. I also supplement my store with new clothes, toiletries, and other various items my students request to work towards. This store creates an extra reward for turning in school work as well as positive behavior!
