With the right materials, exposure and patience, my students can develop the skills needed to foster more practical life skills. Through use of these sensory items, the students will be improving sensory processing, communication, social relationships and ultimately acquiring skills needed to before successful in life despite the learning challenges they may face. By focusing on teaching through use of sensory items, students with autism gain the opportunity to learn with their whole body! Thank you!
