My students will be able to work interactively and manipulate the calendars in order for them to learn organizational skills. We work in small groups in order to maximize learning and to make it manageable for our learners. My learners deserve to be exposed to different modalities of learning by using all 5 senses, if possible. Being able to stand up and participate in our classroom is a regular practice. The students feel more productive and successful when they are able to manipulate and take ownership of their learning. Providing my students with different phonological awareness activities will level the playing field when it comes to reading development and success.
