Students can use Chromebooks to access a variety of historical sources, opinions and sources. This access to a range of sources helps them explore a range of perspectives on historical and current events. Students can use these computers to research and to create presentations to address the issues most important to them.
The Chromebook technology lets students explore history and current world events through art, technology, geography, and environmental science. The students can use the Chromebooks to create shared documents and slideshows for presentations in a collaborative and creative way that prepares them for the world they are entering in college and career.
Students of all abilities and interests are given the opportunity to explore issues that they are passionate about and then create a presentation to share with other students. Finally, they can use the Chromebooks to create an action plan to address these issues. Learning these skills empowers the students to be more engaged in school and in their community.
